While the minimum 7-day stay allows you to settle into the retreat environment, longer stays enable deeper healing and a more thorough resolution of accumulated stress patterns – think of longer retreats as a deep-cleaning process. While a quick tidy-up (shorter stay) can freshen things up, a thorough spring cleaning (longer stay) allows you to reach those overlooked corners and clear out accumulated clutter. The longer retreats leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised, with a cleaner, more organised mental space.

A day on a Quiet Retreat

6:30am – Wake up: A gentle bell signals the start of your day, giving you time for personal routines before the first session.

7 – 10am – Morning session: Engage in meditation and group interaction, where Matthew addresses core life issues tailored to participants. This is your chance to discuss personal or professional challenges.

10am – 11am – Refuel: Enjoy a nourishing brunch. The silence provides a unique chance to be fully present in a supportive setting—free from distractions and expectations.

11am – 1pm – Personal time: After brunch, rest, take a slow walk, or have your one-on-one session with Matthew for personalised guidance.

1 – 4pmAfternoon session: Participate in another meditation session with group interaction, fostering further insights and personal growth.

4 – 5pm – Evening refuel: Dinner is served.

5 – 6pm – Personal time: Take a break before the evening session.

6 – 9pm – Evening session: Conclude your day with a final meditation session and progress check-in. Afterwards, retire or continue your quiet reflection.
